get involved

A happy news story that practically made me cry.

While watching the evening news I got to see a very touching story about a man (Earl Morse) who is just trying to help others. Mr. Morse started an organization called Honor Flight whose goal is simply to transport World War II veterans to Washington DC to visit and reflect on the memorials that was constructed to honor them.

Many veterans have never seen the memorial and the goal of Honor Flight is to get all of the veterans to the memorial free. You can read more about this story @ http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/9992713/

I just thought it was a nice thing to hear about and a wonderful gesture! Those veterans sacrificed so much to give us the freedom we have today and Honor Flight is just another organization trying to honor them and make their dreams come true. So sweet!
