go to a Whole Foods afterwards because there was one nearby. And fortunately, I keep an insulated bag in our car for such occasions.

History of any kind and museums are among my favorite places. I loved the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn (or is it Detroit – I wasn’t driving!)

There used to be a Metal Museum in Memphis, I don’t know if it is still there, but it was fascinating and included a working blacksmith shop. When we were there, he was making armor for a theatrical production.

It sounds like you had a wonderful weekend as well as productive.

I love old history, and exploring/touring places. We have Fort Langley here, which I have gone through a few times, and some phenominal old cemetaries. We even bought a ‘cemetary book’ which gives the background on a lot of the families buried in them. Sounds like a fantastic and productive trip!
