Observing Nature

It’s always nice to take time out of the day to observe or enjoy the work around you. I can often become engrossed in the day to day tasks but I when I find a moment to just enjoy the simple things.

Today when I came home from class I let the dog outside and noticed that she immediately became interested in something that was crawling on the ground. I went out to see what she was so concerned about and realized it was a spiked caterpillar.

I ran inside to grab my camera and I got a stick to move the caterpillar to a safer place away from the dog because I just know she will try to munch the caterpillar while I am recording it… Anyway, here is the video of the spiked caterpillar that visited us today. Enjoy!
