I hope your girlfriend enjoys it! Everly’s classroom is peanut allergy free this year and since we have such a small school/ county they aren’t as strict about snack limitations. I’m so thankful we don’t have a peanut allergy in our home. Food limitations are so hard.

Peanut allergies can be one of the most severe out there and as a mom of 2 peanut/treenut allergic kids plus being married to a peanut allergic husband I urge you to ask the teacher if there are any peanut allergies in your classroom and if so to make the choice not to send in a snack containing something that is life threatening to another child. You already understand the tough choices those with restricted diets must make with Everly needing to be gluten free and I do empathize with the difficulty in pleasing and making sure your littles fit in.
However this does look delicious and I’m definitely giving it to one of my girlfriends to make in her kitchen for me since we maintain a peanut free house for the safety of those who are allergic.
