Small business & hobby business owners often have a hard time with accounting software. Small companies often do not have the money to buy expensive accounting software and often times they don’t even really need all the bells and whistles that the expensive programs offer. Small business owners care about bookkeeping but often times have a hard time finding a tool that will help them take care of business.

Today I learned about a rather unique company that takes a different approach altogether. They offer a web based accounting program that does the basics in small business accounting. It’s called LessAccounting.com. The idea they have is to offer accounting solutions that get out of your way and let you run your business.

I went over to the site and created a free account just to test our the service. Overall it seems to be beneficial especially for brand new businesses with low volume sales. It’s a great starter program because it is free and you can keep it & use it free as long as you have less than 5 sales, 5 deposits, 5 expenses and 5 proposals to report per month.

The concept is pretty cool, the whole application is web based so you need to be on the internet to input or view any information but it’s easy and great for small businesses!

If you have low volume sales and want an easy approach to accounting this is a great starter program for you and it’s free till your business picks up! Check it out if you need a nice and easy accounting solution!
