Waho… My energy is back folks!

Ever have one of those days where your brain moves way faster than your hands? I am totally having one of those days today. I am even finding trouble slowing down to eat, poor Tater Tot.

Lets see, I have a huge burst of energy so I figure the bills and wrote checks and all are waiting to be sent out tomorrow. I got an unpleasant collection notice about a lab bill that I was actually making payments on so I had to sit down and write up the standard “cover your butt” letter to the collection agency about how I dispute the validity to the debt and please show me proof that they amount you are trying to collect is valid… Blah, blah, blah…

Then I got to thinking about how easy it is to just ignore those collection notices and forfeit your chance to dispute the collection. So I wrote an article to encourage consumers to exercise their rights, especially now since money is tight for everyone. Way too many people just sweep those notices under the rug and end up in more trouble a a result. If you are getting any type of collection notice please take some time to read the article I wrote.

I am super stoked that the big gift I got N is paid for, has arrived and is now wrapped under the tree! Getting those must have purchases out of the way seems to make the rest of the holiday season prep so much more enjoyable. Now all I need to get are smaller, less important things.

I am so extremely happy to be feeling better and having more energy these days! My pregnancy posture is still causing major back pain when I am on my feet forever but to be able to get up and get things done is awesome right now, thank goodness my energy has returned!

I found a fun site called http://www.spinningbabies.com/ that helps pregnant ladies learn about and understand the position of the baby inside the womb. It also offers much insight to help get baby positioned correctly for delivery and to avoid breech and c-section deliveries. I am reading the info there like a mad woman!

Lastly I am spending tons of time on gather, a social networking site where posting, reading, rating and commenting on your connections content earns you points that you redeem for free gift cards. I have earned $225 in gift cards since 2007 and I am really only on there around the holidays to earn cards as gifts.

Okay I am done rambling on and on. Hope you are staying warm and cozy this week, we are freezing here but still now snow… πŸ™

  1. I found your blog through googling for midwives in Evansville, and I can totally empathize! I found out I am pregnant with our 2nd child a couple of weeks ago, and had a doula and midwife in Mobile that I adored with our first child. But, I was wondering if you have found a good solution yet. I’m going to go to the Evansville Birth Network meeting and see what I can find out. I would love to have a homebirth with this baby, but we shall see.

  2. Spinningbabies saved my sanity when I was pregnant with Jessamine. Max had been a bit off in his position, which made for a very difficult birth, so it was great to know she was in the right position.

I joint a points program like that but they have annoyed me too much to proceed any further. I get at least ten million emails a day from them saying that if I buy this or that $200 item I will earn two whole points toward a 5,000 point $10 KMart gift card!
