After about three days of frustration I finally managed to get wordpress up and running on my domain! It was a complicated process but I found many helpful articles on installing & configuring wordpress.
Many thanks to Cricket (my SEO class Teacher) for the installing wordpress article! Also thanks to everyone who posts on the wordpress support forums!! Without these articles I would not have a blog up and going right now.
The Harvest of Daily Life blog has officially been moved off of wordpress.com to our domain name because wordpress.com does not like to host business related blogs on their domain. The new blog location is: http://www.harvestofdailylife.com I am in the process of restoring all my previous posts, all new posts are displayed.
