So, I was hired on at a local golf club. A friend referred me and I got the job. This friend was also my boss, I was hired to be a catering manager under her. Well today she called me in and the essentially fired me, they felt it was best we went our separate ways..
I feel shocked and betrayed. Nothing specific happened, just hard times in general. People don’t like change and I was there to change things… Anyway, I am fired now and have realized that sometimes you are just disposable like the trash… It’s a depressing situation.
I am trying to pick myself up and to find some good in this situation.. Everything happens for a reason, so what is it this time? It gives me an opportunity to really try to make money with my small business and it has pushed me to expand that business and start offering small business owners help with their websites. Maybe it’s all an unrealistic dream I have, but maybe it will work! I just created a webpage, email and an ad to try and get the ball rolling:
