Last week we were vacuuming the house and our vacuum started smoking. That’s right a billowing stream of smoke was coming out of the vacuum so we unplugged it and took it outside (just in case it burst into flames). It was a good vacuum considering the demands. We have a dog, four cats, a bunny and two zebra finches. We vacuum up pet hair, the occasional dumped over planter, my craft and sewing messes and all the usual dirty house debris. Our vacuum takes a beating and the poor Eureka Whirlwind Vacuum was toast- literally!
I was perusing Target with some friends on Tuesday, we ended up in the vacuum area and proceeded to try to figure out the various vacuum cleaners when I found our new vacuum!
At target it was about $75.00 it was the Eureka Altima Upright Vacuum
I like it so far, although the attachment hose thingy is a bit shorter than I like. Just wanted to share the news on the new vacuum. If you are looking for one and have major pet hair to vacuum up this one works well. Our couch looks just like new again!
