pregnancy

Another week draws to an end… Coming up on 37 weeks pregnant!

<-  Look what I’ve been working on!!

It is not the greatest but I needed a blog button for a new writing gig I have going on. It looks like I’ll be one of the contributing editors to Sited and Blogged sharing coupon finds and deals! I know, I’ve always got a million things going huh? LOL.

The other exciting stuff happening is that next week Tater will officially be FULL TERM and we’ll be just 3 short weeks from her due date.

This is very exciting for us although it is going to be hard to be away from N for so long. In 2 weeks he is dropping me off at The Farm, he’ll stay the weekend and then he heads back home on Sunday. He has to work (no paternity leave) and be at the house to feed and water the animals until labor starts.

We had previously hoped to have someone staying here at the house to look after the pets so that N could return to The Farm every weekend to visit with me but it doesn’t seem like that will be happening.

My mother will be staying with me out at The Farm so I wont be completely alone while I am there waiting for little Tater to make her entrance.

I am kind of worried about N getting himself from Evansville to Summertown in time for Tater’s arrival once labor begins, that is another reason I’ve been having so much “has labor started” anxiety.

He’ll be 4 hours away and will have to drop everything at work, get a rental car, find someone to look after the animals, grab all his stuff and get himself to The Farm in time for the birth once he gets word that labor has begun. *sigh* Stress (but excitement too)!!

  1. That really is stressful! I’m glad your mom will be with you at The Farm so you aren’t alone until he gets there. I’m sure it’ll be hard for him to be at home wondering how you are. Do you know any of your neighbors who could feed your animals on the weekends so N can be there? Can any of your animals do bulk food and water dispensers? Can your brother come stay at your house while N’s away?

    Okay, I’ll stop.

  2. Hyphen Mama stole my ideas 🙂 Things will work out exactly as they are supposed to. Its to find peace when you’re so anxious. But, N will make it on time. First babies like to take awhile to come out. I’m glad your mom will be to hang out with you and keep you company. I’m so excited that the time is almost here!!! Keep up the positive thoughts! *hugs*
