Christmas Preparation Frenzy- 4 ½ days till Xmas

Christmas Preparation Frenzy- 4 ½ days till Xmas

I have been a busy bee making homemade goodies for the family and friends. My holiday shopping is done but my holiday crafting and baking is just getting started!

Yesterday I made a batch of fudge, a sweater purse bath set and a few crocheted squares a baby blanket. Today I made a batch of rice crispy treats, decorated and wrapped the fudge, a loaf of cinnamon raisin bread is baking right now.

I still need to cut the crispy treats into squares, dip them in chocolate, make up some jars of my oatmeal cookie mix, make my chocolate dipped pretzels and get two more loaves of cinnamon raisin bread baking.

I want to finish the baby blanket I am knitting & crocheting and I also plan to whip out another sweater purse bath set to give a holiday gifts.. I am also flipping through several of my craft/ baking books and looking for more fun craft and baking projects…

Oh, I got my acknowledgment postcard from locks of love (I donated 10 inches of my poofy hair a while back) today too!

dsc03345.JPGIf you are in a crazy frenzy to get stuff done for the holidays like me I just want to encourage each of you to make some time today to pamper yourself! Tis the season to completely forget about your self and try to please everyone else, so take some much earned time to love yourself before the holiday!

Yesterday I dyed my hair, plucked my eyebrows and made time to put a face mask on while the hair dye was setting. Then I showered and went to bed. What are you going to do for yourself?
