Noitice the beauty around you and you will have a great day.

Sunrise in a gardenHow is it that simply getting up in the morning and taking the time to “smell the roses” can make your whole day great?

This morning when I went down to pur myself some coffee I looked outside to see what the temperature gage was reading. It was warm enough last night for us to sleep with the windows open. You see here in Flagstaff, AZ most places don’t have AC becasue it’s generally not necessary. As long as you open those windows and get a fan or two the air temperature is just fine in the summer. Anyway, it’s warming up here so I was curious about the morning themperature, it was about 60 degrees.

After observing the temperature I proudly looked upon my sprouting poppy seeds, growning berry bushes and surfacing bulbs. Next thing I know I am feeling great, my mood is good and my spirits are high- just becasue I observed some beauty in the world today…

Morning traditions/ routines are a great way to get the morning off to a good start. I shared mine, what are yours?

  • Absolutely right! Spring is on the way, I can smell it. Tonight we ‘spring ahead’ and change the clock, more daylight hours. I can almost feel the change of seasons. Soon, very soon!

It really is nice to be able to move out to the patio in the mornings to enjoy coffee and fresh air and see the progress on all your plants. I can’t wait to get some veggies going now!
