Small businesses

I work in the service industry and have for many years. I have done everything from banquet serving to working as a front desk agent. I have also done retail sales and I am a dance teacher.

Everything I am surrounded by is people orientated so naturally I am very sensitive to good/ bad service. I love shopping in the privately owned small businesses because of the great service and the “I care” attitude.

What is better is we are helping to support others who truly love what they do. I think small businesses are truly special because “they are run by real people who strive to provide real interactions and “above and beyond” customer service.” (quote taken from: www.CraftedCustomGifts.com)

I want to encourage everyone reading this to explore some small businesses in your community or to simply explore some online one. My favorite online small business resource is:

The virtual flea market (http://qflea.com/). Flea market shopping from the convenience of your home at the largest free virtual flea market on line.
