One Kind Act Wednesdays

onekindact.jpgI visited Annie over @ Loving Annie and discovered her One Kind Act Wednesday post. This seems like something will enjoy participating in and it will help me to do kind things for others more often.

My kind act for the day is: Forgiveness and acceptance.

On Tuesday I was helping out an old employer and ended up getting verbally abused and attacked by a generally unhappy couple of women over a honest mistake that another employee of the company made.

I am not talking about a simple complaint here. These women set out to intentionally attack and belittle somebody. I ended up having to encounter them and despite my best efforts to remedy the situation they were set on being nasty to me.

I do not appreciate being a verbal punching bag but I forgive them for their rudeness and for the personal attack. I am not the one they are really upset with I was just in their path. What they did was not right or fair but I forgive them.

  1. Talina,
it sounds like you exercised kindness/forgiveness and acceptance very graciously ! It’s hard to keep your cool when people are trying to get your goat, and you rose above it, knowing their bad behavior was about them and not you ! congratulations ! That is walking the alk and talking the talk.

Thank you for visiting my blog, and participating in ‘One Kind Act’ Wednesdays ! I hope that you come by again.

Hope you have a good Friday !
    Loving Annie
