Woho! Take it off…

… that is the kind of audio the news station hopes to get off the investigative story they sent him on last night. The destination was an underage foam party. From Sarah Palin to foam parties, what is next?

Supposedly there is all this nastiness going on under the foam at these parties. Teens get STD’s and lots of sexual action at events like this one according to the station writers that crafted this story. What is even better is they think parents are actually dropping kids off at this party and picking them up afterward.

Have you ever allowed your teen to go to a foam party? What are your thoughts on them?

In other news we spent the day grocery shopping and scored a pretty sweet deal. Just for fun while we were at Sam’s Club we perused the electronics section to show each other what we liked as possible holiday gift ideas.

I have been eyeing powerful iPod docking station radios for quite some time so while we were loking at those we spotted this beauty:

It goes for $90.00 and has some good sound output, then N noticed that it was a display item marked down to $20.00. Yes we got a perfectly good, undamaged, sweet iPod radio for a steal! I love finding a sweet discount.

  1. i remember news stories like that making my life very difficult as a kid. like my mom trying to figure out how to play my nkotb tapes backward to make sure they weren’t satanic.

  2. I am feeling old,, the first I heard of a foam party was when someone died during one on CSI. Personally I think it would be fun to be in that much foam, but not with strangers! As for my kid going, she is old enough now to choose that kind of thing, but when she was still young at home,, NO, I would not drop off/pick up from one!

  3. In high school I went to one of theses at Polysters Night Club (You know that big adobe color building on Scts rd). But there was nothing like that going on in the foam. Plus once you were covered in that soap if it got in your eye it burned like hell! So is N going to pretend to be a teen and sneak into one of these parties? OMG he could use the alias “Sunny Dayz”! Haha oh high school memories!
In other news! Ive been eyeing a good docking station too! I went to wallgreens the other day and was going through the clearance bens and at the very bottom we a Sony iPod doc with am/fm raido with alarm for $15 bucks! So I bought it!!! Let me just tell you, it has awesome sound!

  4. I never heard of a foam party either. Weird. I think it would be fun for six year olds. Well, obviously without any drugs or sexual action. Wow – awesome score on the radio!

  5. Ive heard of them and my 3 oldest kids where invited to one and I told them they could go if I go and while they wernt thrilled they rolled their eye and we went.

There were other parents there and we hung outside talking and then we went in to check on the kids and we all ended up have tons of fun. I can see the appeal

I did not see any sexual sitations but then again parents were there.

However I think back to the things I got away with right under adults noses and it doest make me feel better!

The way I deal is to be open and talk with my kids.

Although let me tell ya its a lil hard to eat dinner when your 11 year old asks Whats a bj??? And then to dicover he asking bc a girl offered him one!

  6. They say you’re not supposed to get soap in certain places right? So why in the heck would you have sex in a room that’s filled over your head with bubbles?! Oh yeah, think like a teenager’s mind here. I’m away from my parents, there’s girls in bikinis and guys with their shirts off and there’s foam. PARTY!

  7. LOL at the ‘bj’. When my daughter was really young,(maybe 4?) she overheard my cousin complain about a sore jaw from giving a ‘bj’. My daughter started to laugh and said she knew how that felt. I tried not to look horrified when I asked her to explain, she said “Don’t you remember how sore my mouth was from the Black Jawbreaker I got at the store?” OMG,, I didn’t bother to correct her at the time, but we laugh about it now!
