Last month I crocheted and knitted several squares and sent them to Shelly @ this eclectic life.com. Shelly is calling for people to knit and crochet six inch squares, send them to her and her volunteers will join them together making blankets that will be donated to a camp that comforts and entertains young cancer sufferers. Shelly has posted photos of all the squares she has received and I am very proud to have participated in this project. I will probably make and send a few more squares just for fun.
Share a square is a great cause and its a small way for everyone to make a huge difference! I am now taking donations of yarn that I will crochet into squares for Shelly to use in her blankets. Surprisingly, many people on my areas freecycle list are giving me their unused yarn. Many more squares are on the way Shelly!!
