Happy 2 month birthday Everly!

Our darling Everly was born 8 weeks ago and is now a two month old. Can you believe it? I know I sure can't! She came in to the world totally new to everything and has come so far in these past 8 weeks. When she was born all she was doing was sleeping and looking around. Hump day is kicking my butt!! All I want to do is sleep.

Man, I am drained today and have no idea why! It is a nice day, not to cold and not to warm. Spring is upon us and the garden is showing first signs of life. I've got plenty of things I should be doing like cleaning house, finishing up building the cat house, packing, crocheting etc. I just can't muster the energy to do any of it. Are you celebrating today? Happy day!

Today is Cinco de Mayo and it also happens to be N's birthday. He is working today so we celebrated his birthday yesterday. We had a nice day out and about then we headed back into Flagstaff, stopped at Bookmans to trade in some stuff and get some movies. Once we got home from our outing N opened his awesome green friendly birthday gift. I made a red velvet cake (from scratch) for N's birthday and my famous moist roasted chicken for dinner. We had a very nice day together. I snapped some photos to share...

Birthday photos shared!

I promised to post some photos from my birthday and I try to live up to my promises! Since I got plants galore you will be subjected to a slew of bulb information and photos but don't run away yet! We also have some adorable baby photos and some yummy fondue photos to share. First, I compiled a list of the plants I got, plugged them in to my Dave's Garden Journal with photos so I could remember what got planted where in a few months. It's so easy to forget what you have and where you put it when you have a garden addiction like I do! Peruvian Daffodil (view my dave's garden journal entry by clicking here) - Is a uniquw white flower with wispy petals and a sweet scent....
