Happy weekend fellow bloggers!

Happy weekend fellow bloggers!

By the time you read this my students and I will be out in the hot phoenix sun rehearsing and getting ready to perform. They go on around 5pm and it will take us till about midnight to get back home to Flagstaff, AZ.

Many of you are worried that I am pregnant and I just wanted to assure you that I am not. I took a test early Thursday and it was negative like the previous tests. I still have no period but suspect it is resulting from my low body weight.

I am feeling a bit better today and will be resting after this weekend is over because it is spring break week for my students and there is no school! My birthday is also Thursday so I am planning to try to enjoy it as much as I can.

We have 3 eggs now from the horny finches.. He, he. We will see how many survive this round and if I get any with color mutations with this batch. Oh, my kitties are all doing great! Mr. Guy is still sniffley and stuffy but is improving so much. Jack is completely over his infection an is just back to his usual self. Andrew (my smartest kitty) figured out to escape the house through the doggy door this afternoon and I had to wrangle him!

Well, wish us luck in the performance today! I’ll let you know how it goes and what our score is soon!

I hope your performance goes well. Can’t wait to see what happens with those finch eggs! Oh, yes, your body weight (or lack thereof, in your case) will definitely mess with your periods. But I’m glad you are feeling better. So what are the birthday plans for you? Keep us posted!

  • The low body weight makes sense! I am shocked (and so is my doctor) that I still get mine. Due to stress, I dropped to (at my lowest) 93lbs, I am between 95-98 now, flucuates daily. He said I should not get it anymore at that weight, but I am extremely healthy with my eating choices and vitamins etc, so that may be the difference. (not to imply you don’t eat healthy, lol). Have you been checked for iron levels, or a good check-up in general? Look after yourself, and hope your weekend is great! Glad to hear all animals and eggs are doing well !

  • Hope you have a great time! Looks like the finches are producing the eggs for you while your body mass dictates a hiatus in reproductive matters.

  • I’d LOVE to be in the Phoenix sun today! Good luck. And I hope you do something great for your birthday… maybe eat a lot of cake. Well, that’s what I’d do, anyway.
