For those of us old school video game children getting used to the newest and greatest video game systems is hard stuff. On Christmas night after N got off work we sat down and started playing the new Wii for the first time. Actually, N got to play Wii at a holiday party earlier this month so he had some more experience than me.
The bowling game was easy to pick up on for me but the pool game was hard stuff! Literally it took me 20 minutes to figure out how to hit the cue ball! N was laughing his butt off the whole time and I was getting super frustrated.
The Wii is tons of fun! We haven’t busted out the Wii Fit yet, we’ll have tons to keep us occupied this weekend! Oh, N was nice enough to make a video of me struggling with the Wii for your viewing pleasure, enjoy!
I sooo want to get one now! I don’t know anybody in person who has one, so I have never tried it, but a few fellow bloggers have blogged about them, and they sound great! I have heard you can go online and compete in some games as well, sounds like a riot!

I remember Pong, and Space Invaders, and I sucked at both.
My younger son tried to get me involved in World of Warcraft, and it just made my head spin. I wouldn’t have the time anyway. I can barely keep up with blog things.
Reading and writing.

My son is his second Wii console. Did N cut the video before the expletives started? LOL I have not played the Wii, yet. Luke likes the Guitar Hero. They are playing tennis right now.
I too have Wii! I found thats it is easier to use when standing up. I cant play it to save my life when I sit!

I saw the Wii in action Thanksgiving a year ago. It was wildly funny watching the “boys” play. Boxing was my favorite, especially when I couldn’t see the TV at the same time. Like Krystal said, everyone stood up to play.

I love the Wii. The graphics may not be the greatest but kudos to the Nintendo guys and gals over in Japan that came up with the concept. I think this will be where every other video game system heads in the future.
