Gorgeous Girl summer pampering gift set, twitter giveaway

This new mom is trying to reduce her custom gift business inventory. It is time for us to purge and organize! Now that baby Everly is here I just don't have the time or energy to sell my stuff at craft shows anymore and I've got so much inventory taking up valuable space in the garage. The result: I am giving this huge gift set away to one lucky twitter follower! The set includes everything needed for a fabulous summer! A wicker tote contains foot pampering goodies, a yoga mat, straw hat, a freezable cooler cup to keep you hydrated and fun bath items that will have you feeling energized and ready for fun in the sun...

Back to school with Scoolio-Von-Hoolio and OfficeMax giveaway. Get Organized Today!

Last week I was invited to participate in a "Get Organized for Back-to-School" webcast & twitter chat and it was a blast. First off I love twitter chats of any kind so I was stoked to participate, I was also interested in getting some organizational tips because our "office" is anything but organized. The idea of the webcast was that Peter Walsh and several panelists would present organizational tips for the home, for kids and for the classroom while allowing viewers to submit questions via twitter that the panelists would answer. N isn't the most organized person in the world so I was stoked to get some organizational tips from the webcast. They presented lots of good info and many good reminders about organization. Here are a few: TIPS FOR HOME 1) Find the...

Hey mama, win some goodies!

I have been in a crappy mood today basically over finances and lack of preparedness. You probably got that from my last post huh? Well, I wasn't going to whine about it here in another blog post cause that is a downer. So I resolved to sleep and lay around all day instead having anxiety and feeling blah. I was reading your blogs, commenting and tweeting throughout the day just wasn't in the mindset to post anything worthwhile when one of the people I follow tweeted about a contest that was right up my alley! It was for 3 Fuzibunz cloth diapers, I still have none so I went and entered. Then I got to thinking, "Hey whiny baby! Change those poopy pants and do something to improve the situation instead of...

Bloggy Giveaway winners!!

I promised I would announce the winners of my bloggy giveaway soon after the contest closed. I'll admit it was hard to figure out who was the most deserving so I decided to give two away instead of just the one. Here are the winners of the heartwarming mini message in a bottle gifts. Thanks for all your entries guys! Becky S Well, my message would sort of be for two people. I recently adopted our beautiful daughter from China. I would write a thank you to her birth mother for giving us life’s greatest gift. However, we don’t don’t who her birthmother is, so I would have my daughter hold onto it as a keepsake. Then she could someday add her own thank you, too and remember the special...

A free domain name?

Register.com sent me and unsolicited email about free domain registeration that they are giving away till 3/25/08. I thought it looked like an interesting deal so I headed over to the site to read the find print. It is actually free for 1 year from the date of registration (you will need to buy your own hosting plan separate from the domain if you wish to use it), the catch is that they want your credit card information on the account so that when the free year is up they can charge you for a second year and so on. They charge $35.00 for 1 year domain registration!! What a rip off! I actually do not recommend register.com's hosting plans to anyone who wishes to have control over their site/ SEO. I...
