Christmas Eve = Baking Madness!

Since we'll be grocery shopping and baking like mad on Christmas Eve I am pre-writing this blog post. Thankfully I am over the car drama stressing thanks to my therapeutic cinnamon roll baking and my ever fluctuating hormone levels. Once again I am making about 7 pans of Oowey, gooey, heaven in a pan, cinnamon rolls with this online recipe. If you love cinnamon rolls you have got to try the recipe, trust me! It is easy and pretty basic as far as ingredients go. Go forth and bake rolls, you will not be sorry. Oh and don't worry I wont be eating all 7 pans of rolls myself, that would be insane. I would slip in to a diabetic coma and Tater Tot would be bouncing off my uterus walls! N is taking...

Lookie what I got…

Just wanted to share the gorgeous soap I just got in the mail today from Maiden53. It is a bar of fresh and energizing tangerine soap, yum! I love handmade soap for a number of reasons. The main one is because homemade soap is usually more natural and it leaves my skin feeling so nice. After checking out the Garland Prarie Soaps page I got really excited about the occation soaps idea. N and I have been brainstorming fun wedding favor ideas and homemade soaps are a really good idea! With our forest wedding theme we wanted to encorporate the scents and textures of the forest in to the wedding reception. Giving individually wrapped homemade soaps to our guests is a very cute idea. Fun! Thanks Maiden53 for the bar of soap...

You can remove stains, disinfect, whiten your teeth and much more without buying expensive specialized products. In the next few weeks we are moving out of our current place and into an new one. This means massive amounts of cleaning and fixing will occur and I am trying to find simpler ways of doing this. My first old-fashioned know how concoction I want to share with you is homemade spackle- hole...

Alternative Hair Removal Recipe

Sugaring is an alternative form of hair removal. Some people believe it is better for your skin than waxing because all the ingredients are natural and less likely to clog pores. Sugaring is an ancient method of hair removal that was first practiced in the Middle East. The sugar mixture is heated to form a tacky paste. It is spread in the direction of hair growth, allowed to cool and is then ripped off the skin in the opposite direction of the hair growth. Some choose to use paper or cloth strips to press against the sugar mixture once applied to the skin. The cloth/ paper is then pulled off to remove the hair and the sugar mixture. Others choose not to use strips, they simply pull the tacky sugar mixture...
